I recently had the amazing opportunity to take my first ever solo trip to none other than
Paris, France! As a travel blogger and someone who loves immersing myself in new cultures
and destinations, I was thrilled to spend a week exploring one of the most iconic cities in
Europe. With the help of The Travel Makers, the best travel agency in Dubai, I booked a
fabulous Europe tour packages from dubai that included a solo trip to Paris. Also, Paris is known as a
best destination for Couples but it has also so much for Solo travellers. Let’s have a brief of
my first solo trip to Paris.

Arriving in Paris – The City of Light

Stepping off the train at Paris’ Gare de Lyon station, I was immediately struck by the bustling
energy and romance of the iconic City of Lights. As I made my way to my cozy boutique
hotel in the heart of the trendy Marais neighborhood, I caught enticing whiffs of freshly
baked baguettes, saw chic Parisians dressed to perfection, and heard accordion music
spilling out of quaint corner cafes. I couldn’t wait to discover all the magical secrets and
hidden gems of this world-famous city on my solo trip to Paris!

My Paris Bucket List Adventures

During my week in Paris, I set out to cross off as many quintessential Parisian experiences as possible on my solo adventure…

  • Wandering Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur – On my first full day, I took the metro up to the lovely hilltop neighborhood of Montmartre, where I found cobblestone streets lined with little art galleries, shops, and infinite charm. I slowly climbed the 300+ steps to reach Sacré-Cœur Basilica perched high above the city, and the basilica rewarded me with a glorious panoramic view to enjoy on my solo trip to Paris.
  • Strolling & Shopping Along the Champs-Élysées – No first-timer’s trip to Paris is complete without an amble down the iconic Champs-Élysées boulevard. I window shopped the luxury flagship stores, picked up some stylish new pieces, and capped it off by taking a spin on the vintage-style carousel at Place de la Concorde.
  • Lounging & People-Watching at Cafés – One of my favorite Parisian pastimes was simply sitting at a sidewalk café, sipping un café or fine French wine, while observing the effortless beauty and fashion around me on the bustling streets on my solo trip to Paris. It was the perfect way to relax and soak up the city’s je ne sais quoi charm!
  • Marveling at the Masterpieces of Musée d’Orsay – As an art lover, I was blown away by the immense impressionist and post-impressionist collections at the striking Beaux-Arts style Musée d’Orsay. Seeing the iconic works of Monet, Renoir, Degas, Van Gogh and more up close was such a moving experience to have on my solo trip to Paris.
  • Embarking on Food Tours & Tastings – Parisians truly take their cuisine seriously, so I had to indulge! From cheese and bread tastings at small family-owned fromageries to entire tours dedicated to sweets, wine, and breadmaking workshops – my tastebuds went on a spectacular adventure discovering Paris’ culinary scene. Further, Creamy French onion soup, buttery chocolate croissants, and mouthwatering macarons quickly became new favorites!

The Perfect Solo Experience

Even though I was traveling alone, Paris truly felt magical, welcoming, and safe on my solo trip to Paris. Every day filled with new adventures, tasty food discoveries, interactions with kind locals happy to practice their English, and so much beauty around each corner that I often felt dreamily overwhelmed – in the best possible way! Booking this trip through The Travel Makers made everything seamless and stress-free, allowing me to fully immerse in Parisian bliss.

At the end of my Parisian week, I truly understood why so many people fall head over heels for this destination.  I don’t know what spirit won me over, and I cannot wait to return – maybe even move there someday! – to continue uncovering the city’s many charms.

Paris! I’ll be back soon…
